Does anyone know the names of these two 90's tv series?

I'm trying to remember the name of two late 90's kids tv series that I grew up on. One show was kind of like a cross between super human samurai syber squad and power rangers. If I remember right it had 3 people who morphed and warped to this world to fight monsters. It wasn't a cartoon series and I remember distinctively one of the fighters was this black guy who when he morphed wore a yellow suit and shorts and had dumb bell type weapons. I think Saban made it but I could be wrong. The other show used to come on Channel 4 Indianpolis on Saturday mornings right before Wrestling. It was these teens who worked in a junk yard or something like that and they morphed into these vehicles only when they jumped into the vehicle they were morphing into. Like one dude I think was a tow truck. Please, if anyone knows the answers to these questions please get at me because it's been burning for years how I can't remember the names of these series who came on in the late 90's, around '97 or '98.
