I need a good critique please!?

Very nice - that's an interesting ignment. One suggestion - this is all sunshine and roses. Do you think there might be something that happened over the span of 18 years, that could have provided dissension but eventually brought the mother and daughter closer together? I'm just thinking of making it more realistic, and no mother gushes over her child for 18 years. There are minor snags along the way - always - and you might want to acknowledge them.
