Stained nails and toenails from tanning lotion? Help please!?

Hi all, I use tanning lotion to even out the weird sports bra and sock tans I get from running. I have noticed, however, that it has stained my nails a yellowy color, especially around the edges and in the crevices of my skin (eww). I always wash my hands after applying the lotion, and the stains aren't so bad on my fingernails, but my toenails are awfully stained. Are there any remedies for this? I plan to wash my feet and hands immediately after applying the lotion in the future. Anyways, if you have an solutions, please help! Thank you :)
