Selling a Petrol Guzzling Car in Present Economic Climate?

We have a Toyota Prado bought in 2004 at Brighton Toyota in Australia. We have to downsize because of financial problems. Anyone else been able to sell a SUV / 4x4 / off-roader recently and got what you wanted for it. How would you sell such a car at the moment; trading post (web or mag), drive, carsales, carsguide, newspaper? We've stuck an ad on the car but had no takers as yet,
