Christians, if you were on trial for a crime, would you want jurors refering to a bible for sentencing?

I really don't feel most of these people have a clue what would happen to them if they were judged from the bible. Do none of them remember the inquisition or the "witch trials"? That is what happens when people are judged straight from the bible. Religion should have no part in our court rooms whatsoever.
