Is smoking shisha/hooka bad for you ?

All of my friends do it and every time I tell them that they shouldn't they say it isn't bad. I don't know myself because I have never ever done it and I don't plan to. I just want to get my facts straight before I try to explain it to them. All my friends are 14-15-16 yrs old ! HELP !
