I found a baby bird, its all black and it squawks alot i need help figuring out what on kind of bird it is?

and ik its illegal but i cant do any thing because i have no transportaion to a rehabilitor.....but im thinking its a crow.it has a broken leg because of my dog and its all feathered....what should i feed it and how often????? thank yaaa (:
